Magazine Basket

I saw this a work today. It is a basket made out of old magazine pages. I made a smaller basket out of wicker when I was little and it was really hard to get the wicker to move the way you wanted it to go. Using old magazines must be a lot easier to use. I think that I might try this over the summer.

Cupcakes

We had a cupcake competition in my dorm today. We each needed to decorate three cupcakes. I made mine into a flower and a bee. I used the third cupcake as the wings for the bee (I ate one before I thought to take a picture).

Colors

I finally finished taking all the pictures for my color swatches. I made Mini Cubies for the color swatches for the fleece and for the yard I just used the yarn right out of the package. To see all of the fleece colors and yarn colors go to ParanoidSquirrel on Facebook or Flickr.

Earth Day

What do you do with your fabric scraps? If you throw them out,why don't you put them to good use.  I use fabric scraps to stuff plushies when I'm working on a pattern. I use them so I don't waste the scraps. Also, I don't waste good stuffing on a experimental pattern.

Dance Til Dawn 9

Dance Til Dawn was last weekend. I tired to put all of my pictures up this weekend but Facebook kept crashing on me. I'm working on it right now. I hope I can post all of the pictures.

Cubies in the mail

First mini Cubie is in the mail! It fits nicely in a CD envelope. I need to make some more envelope labels. The ones that I have got waterlogged and they have my old logo when the tail of the squirrel was still weird. It looked like a ferrets tail, lol.
